Home care or home support, is for those individuals who are having difficulties performing various activities of daily living.
Home care can encompass a wide range of duties that may need to be carried out by an aide in an individual’s home. Tasks such as cleaning chores, laundry, grocery shopping or running errands when an individual is no longer able to drive.
Home care services can also benefit an individual, on a short-term basis, that may be recovering from surgery, resulting in limited mobility, or for someone who’s primary caregiver, such as a family member, is out of town. In the case of surgery, an individual may benefit from both home care and home health services.
